In the light of day, maybe towards the end of it, is when I love you the most. When we are tired of trying, when our bones have given way and we lie here together, letting our bodies talk. They have long conversations, exchanged in humming breathe, in intertwined fingers. In soft caresses and slow kisses, in shared meals and silent conversation. The sun sets early here, and by five we will be sitting in the dark. But I don’t need to see you to understand you, or need to hear you speak. We lie here, covered in promises, and the light fades, and that is when I love you the most.
Love this. Going to reblog – and I don’t do that often. This captures so much of what I feel with Waco.
I’m honoured, thanks so much!
